During the 60th Anniversary of Kenya’s Diplomatic Journey Celebrations, Kenyatta University Chancellor Amb. Dr. Francis Kirimi Muthaura, MBS, EGH, received a Lifetime Achievement Award from the Prime Cabinet Secretary and Cabinet Secretary for Foreign and Diaspora Affairs, H.E. Dr. Musalia Mudavadi at KICC, for his immense contribution to the Diplomatic and Public Service. “In the past, we have tended to recognize the majority of people after their death, but the Ministry of Foreign and Diaspora Affairs has seen it fit to recognize Kenyans who are making significant contributions in our country’s development while they are still alive. Since Kenya’s independence, through the Ministry of Foreign and Diaspora Affairs, Kenya has flown its flag high. It is easily recognized around the globe.
