His primary research interests are in International Development and how revenue collection by both National and County Governments is a big contributor to national and county development. Maina is very active in youth empowerment and development in his community and an active a competitive swimmer for Kenya.

Vincent is a transformational leader, has been involved in mentoring University and college students in Nairobi impacting them with the Leadership skills and ways to overcome challenges facing them in the ever changing world.
He believes that youths play a key role in the development of a country and investing in them is very critical for the survival of a country.
Vincent lectures foundation of Leadership at the Management University of Africa, A role which he administers with passion.

In future, Vincent hopes to become a Member of Parliament and even a Head of state to advance the country economically, spark growth and create opportunities for all.

MARY MUGURE MUTUGI

Her primary research interests are in National and International law and its interaction with Transitional Justice Mechanisms. Mugure is very active in youth empowerment and is a contributor towards matters of youth empowerment in her community.

DIANA KABURA KIBARE

Diana is currently employed by Management University of Africa as an Assistant Administrator. She hopes to pursue a PhD and work as a University lecturer so as to continuously pass on knowledge and take up research that will help develop our nation.

Leorna is a Volunteer social worker at Mukuru Health Centre, Nairobi. In the future, Leorna hopes to start an organization that aids women and child empowerment so that they gain their independence.

WILFRED O. NYAKUNDI

Wilfred has been involved in mobilizing youths in his hometown to form self-help groups which have brought together many youths for the purpose of advancing their economic, social and spiritual wellbeing and intends on being their patron. Wilfred also wants to contribute towards societal integration and mentor young men and women to take up active leadership roles in their communities.

Currently: PhD International Conflict Management – University of Nairobi Research thesis “Early Warning Signs in Conflict prevention”.

PeterLinus has been involved in reconciling communities divided by conflict in the North of Kenya and hopes to form conflict resolution models that can be adopted in Kenya and the broader East Africa Region. He is also a part-time lecturer in one of the local universities.

LYNETTE MWENDE

Lynette has a passion for working with people especially adolescents and young adults in providing psychological counseling as she believes mental well-being is important. She has volunteered in several organizations including Mathare Hospital and Student Campaign against Drugs (SCAD). In future she hopes to open a counseling center which will specialize on mental health, adolescent health and life coaching.

DUB SHARAMO ABUDHO

Dub successfully initiated an exchange program for peace between Gabra and Rendille in 2006. The program involved youths from both communities where they moved between the communities to preach peace to help resolve inter-tribal conflict. Dub is focused on building peace in communities in Northern Kenya. Dub wants to be an expert in the area of forming security policies as well as to publish books and articles on security.

Phoebe has been involved in mentoring young girls on their rights as well as community capacity building on life skills for children and youth. In future, Phoebe would like to be an established career administrator and policy maker in Kenya.

Terry is a career communications specialist with more than nine years’ experience in writing, editing and publishing. Terry has contributed towards the development of textbooks and newspaper copies and has a keen interest in gender issues. She hopes that through her career platform she can contribute to a more equitable society.
